Raising kids who know how to do things.

Our kids are growing up in a world with more information at their fingertips than any generation before them.

But information isn’t the same thing as capability.

Wildly Capable Kids + Teens is a hands-on skill series designed to give young people something they can carry with them long after The Homestead Event is over:

The confidence that comes from knowing, “I can figure this out.”

This isn’t about keeping kids entertained while the adults learn.

They’re here to learn, too.

WILDLY CAPABLE KIDS SKILL & TEEN SURVIVAL SERIES

REAL SKILLS. REAL TOOLS. REAL CONFIDENCE.

Throughout the weekend, kids and teens will have opportunities to step away from the screen and put their hands to work.

They’ll learn practical skills, try things they may have never done before, solve problems, work alongside experienced instructors, and discover just how capable they really are snd earn pins to collect each year.

Depending on the final class schedule, skills may include:

Fire building and fire safety
Basic first aid and emergency preparedness
Navigation and orienteering
Water purification
Gardening and growing food
Animal care and homestead skills
Basic tool use
Food preservation
Outdoor survival skills
Traditional crafts and practical hand skills
Problem solving and teamwork
Self-reliance and preparedness

They won’t just hear about it. They’ll do it.
